Our Business

Pere Marquette Sports has been in its present location for

over sixty years.It started as Bobs Fly tying shop in 1943,

and has been there under one name or another, ever since.

We plan to keep it going for at least another 50 years.

Many of the services and

products that have been in

the store will remain.We'll

still keep selling live bait and

tackle for all types of fishing.

One area that's going to be

kind of new, is Fly Fishing. 

The Pere Marquette River is

great for fly fishing, and now

you won't have to drive all

the way to Baldwin to get

what you need.Another new

addition will be Moonshine

Lures.Many people have

asked for them and we  

listened.Check back in for

updates and new additions in

products.

Who We Are

 My name is Bob Viglietti.

I was born in Grand Rapids

 and grew up outside of

Chicago. I spent my summers

 and vacations in Mason

County. My family has been in

 Scottville and the

surrounding area for over 100

 years. My mom was a

Thurow, I'm sure many

people will recognize that

name, and I have many other

relatives in the area. My wife,

 Virginia, and our four

children made the move up

here about three years ago.

We see this as a great chance

 to carry on a Ludington icon.

We look forward to many

years of serving you and

making new friends!
